Alpha Car Audio reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time, and you are bound by the version available on the site at the date of purchase.

Product Features and Descriptions

As every attempt is made to describe the features and specification of the product you view, production changes may occur.  Alpha Car Audio will not be held responsible for updating these changes. The descriptions may contain typographical errors and the colours of depicted products may deviate slightly from reality. If in doubt call our sales team or contact the manufactures directly to ensure that actual features and specifications match your requirements.

Your representations

You represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal right and ability to enter into this agreement and to use any debit or credit card used to purchase goods or services on this site. You also warrant that all information you have provided is accurate and true. If you are using a second party’s charge card, we insist that that person is available to authorise the usage of their card at the time of ordering.

Prices

All prices stated on the website are inclusive of VAT, but exclusive of delivery costs, except where stated. Prices and availability of products may be changed at any time without notice. Prices in retail stores are different to the prices shown on this website, please call your nearest store for in store price and stock availability.

Payment

Where payment is made by credit or debit card, you authorise us to debit your card with the total cost of the products selected plus VAT and delivery costs. No funds will be debited from your account until we have confirmed stock availability. Any refunds made in respect of returns or cancellation will be made to the same card. If your card cannot be verified or is any way unacceptable, the order will be cancelled immediately.

Title

Title to the goods passes at the time of receipt of the goods. If the goods have been accepted and signed for, will not be liable for any damage caused to the goods in transit. It is therefore important not to accept any cartons that may have been damaged in transit (or look like they have been tampered with).

Liability

We are not liable for loss of profits, loss of business or other consequential, special or indirect loss arising out of the use of any product purchased from this site. All implied warranties and undertakings are excluded to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Faulty Goods

Any goods returned for credit, which are not faulty, will be returned to the customer with a minimum £15 carriage charge. Any refund (for non-faulty goods returned within 14 days of purchase) will be subject to a minimum 25% handling charge. Any items missing will also be charged.
Any items returned faulty (which have been purchased and returned within 14 days) will be replaced and sent back to the customer carriage free. Certain exclusions apply (listed below).
Any items which develop a fault after 14 days of purchase will be serviced by our acting authorised service centre. Booking the faulty item is a simple procedure which can be done on-line. Please email or call our service team on 0161 832 9696 for returns details.
Any items returned to Alpha Car Audio for service, which under inspection and/or testing are not faulty, will be returned back to the customer subject to a £25 charge for a “no fault found” by our service department. Any items collected by our service centre and found to be "non-faulty" will be subjected to a charge of minimum £15. It is therefore very important that, all items are checked for a legitimate fault, by the customer, before booking them in or returning them back to us.
All items carry 12 months' repair warranty. Most ex-demo units carry 6 months warranty unless otherwise stated. Subwoofers are not covered for voice-coil damage due to abuse, overheating, or distortion. Speaker tinsel leads are not covered due to abuse. Damage caused to facia panels by misuse (e.g. dropping or physical damage) is not covered. We do not cover theft of facia panels, main units or any other item.

Returns Policy

Products returned for credit outside the 7-day distance selling regulations will be subject to a handling charge. We will not refund the following: specially ordered items i.e. non-stock items, acoustic shelves and navigation software, please check with our sales team. Items must be in unopened original packaging with no damage to the boxes or equipment. Items returned for credit, which have been opened, with any damage to internal packaging/wrapping will be subject to a minimum 20% handling charge. Items returned for credit, which has been tested, trialled, or used, will be subject to a MINIMUM 25% handling charge. Any items returned with packaging missing/damaged or any other contents, such as looms, fixing tools and equipment, remote controls, instruction manuals will also be charged to the customer. Any refunds are at the discretion of the management and the handling charge may be increased or decreased as we deem necessary. In all cases, goods returned without prior notification, by email or post, will be refused and returned to the customer.
